New animal rescue centre is being built

After years of planning and fund-raising, the first bricks have now been laid for a brand new RSPCA animal rescue centre in Kent. It’s a projetc that will cost more than a million pounds. The site near Canterbury will take in many unwanted cats, dogs and rabbits, all desperate for someone to give them a little love and a new home. David Johns reports.
